our house is your house

Planted in February of 2014, West Kern Christian Center is a young church in the city of Taft, on the West Side of Kern County. Pastor Randy and Maria Bunch are both Taft natives and excited to be serving their home town for the Kingdom of God.

The teaching of the Word, the liberty of the Spirit of God to move as He wills, and the equipping of believers to "pursue His purpose" for their lives, are some of the primary values of West Kern Christian Center.

More than a church, WKCC is a family of believers who love God, love one another, and love their community. If you do not already have a church home of your own, we'd love to have you join ours. After all, in the end, we're really all part of God's house. "God places the lonely in families; He sets the prisoners free and gives them joy..." (Psalm 68:6).
